Saddle up for an exciting summer! Blue Heron Riding Academy offers three unique Summer Camp options for animal-loving kids ages 7–14: Horse Camp, Goat Camp, and Farm Discovery Camp.
Our Summer Camps are more than just a way to fill a summer day. They’re a chance for kids to spend meaningful time with animals, make new friends, and create lasting memories in a beautiful outdoor farm setting. Campers enjoy daily riding along with hands-on learning that builds confidence, physical fitness, and a lifelong respect and love for animals.
New for 2026, we are excited to introduce Farm Discovery Camp! This camp offers a wider exploration of life on the farm, with morning riding and afternoons spent caring for chickens and bunnies, working in the garden, learning about goats, and discovering daily farm routines through hands-on activities.

Horse Camp
For kids who want to dive deeper into horses.

Each camper is paired with a horse for the week, allowing them to form a connection while learning what it takes to care for their horse.
Mornings are spent riding, focusing on basic skills such as steering, balance, and control, and putting those skills into action with fun mounted arena activities and games. Afternoons take a deeper dive into horse care through hands-on learning, including horse parts, nutrition, bathing, tack parts and care, and daily barn routines. Horse Campers will also have the opportunity to earn their Rainbow Level ribbon through our Learning Levels program, recognizing the skills and knowledge gained throughout the week.
