We would love to have your Troop out to Blue Heron Riding Academy for a special Troop Party or to earn your Horseback Riding Badge! Owner/Instructor, Jill Ingram, is a Lifetime Member of The Girl Scouts and has earned her Gold Award.

Fun, horse filled two hour event for any age Scouts at our farm! Your troop can choose 3 different activities for their party. Optional campfire. Each scout will receive a coloring/activity book to take home and a "I Love Horses" patch. $195 for up to 10 Scouts, $10 each additional Scout
Horseback Riding Badge
Earn your Horseback Riding Badge during a 2-3 hour program for Juniors and Cadets at our farm! Scouts will learn all about the basics of horseback riding. We will cover horse safety and care. Hands-on learning how to groom and saddle a horse plus riding! Scouts will learn to walk, stop, and steer a horse and will have the opportunity to ride through an obstacle course! Scouts will also have an unmounted lesson covering parts of the horse and saddle, helmet safety, and more. Each Scout will receive their Horseback Riding Badge and a coloring/activity book to take home.
